Osun APC Primary: Aregbesola's Chief of Staff leads as electoral committee announce results

The Senator Omo Agege led electoral committee has commenced announcement of results from the Osun APC Primary.

The Osun  APC Primary ahead of the September 2018 governorship election is a three-horse race among Deputy Speaker of the House of Reps Hon Yusuf Lasun, Chief of Staff to the governor Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola, and Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly Najeem Saleem.

Incumbent Governor Rauf Aregbesola has made known his decision not to be outrightly involved in choosing his successor as he completes his second term as Osun governor in November 2018.

17 aspirants announced their decisions to vye for the governorship ticket in Osun and 332 wards are participating in the primary.

On Friday night, the Senator Omo Agege, the party’s electoral chairman supervised the collation of the results from the 332 wards.
