Kovacic says good bye to Real Madrid.

Having completed signing of a long-term loan deal to Chelsea, Mateo Kovacic showed his gratitude to R/Madrid for helping him have 3 Champions League at Bernabau.

Having completed signing of a long-term loan deal to Chelsea, Mateo Kovacic showed his gratitude to R/Madrid for helping him have 3 Champions League at Bernabau.

The 24 year old’s move to Chelsea created a side door for the exit of Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.

 The Croatian international posted to his Instagram account pictures of his official unveiling at Chelsea with the caption;  

 

“Three years filled with trophies I have decided to move on. Eventhough are paths now separate I want to say big thank you to Real Madrid family and all the fans for an amazing part of my life I will never forget. @realmadrid”. 

 Kovacic only made 17 appearances in La Liga last season and due to search for regular play time, he chosed to move to London side, Chelsea.
